Oyo First Lady; You Drove Ajimobi's Daughter To The UK, ACN Alleges Oyo PDP

Oyo First Lady; You Drove Ajimobi's Daughter To The UK, ACN Alleges Oyo PDP

Last about the  rumors of alleged  arrest of Mrs Flornce AAjimobi which has  been debunked  by the appropriate authority may have not been  heard as  the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) Oyo State chapter, raised an allegation that the state PDP violence and bloodletting drove Ajimobi's daughter out of the state to the United Kingdom.
Florence Ajimobi

The Party in a release issued by the State  Publicity Secretary, Hon Dauda Kolawole,  said it was the violence and gangsterism unleashed on then Senator Ajimobi, at the thick of the realization of his stolen election victory in 2007, viciously stolen by the PDP, that made him to relocate his last daughter to the UK.

"This ugly day in 2007, Mrs Ajimobi had driven to her daughter's school in Oluyole, Ibadan, to pick her daughter who was attending school in the Oluyole Estate area when PDP thugs stopped their car and stripped the school girls she hitch-hiked from school naked. She and her daughter ran to a nearby house and hid behind their rescuer's freezer. When the PDP assailants, holding cudgels and cutlasses, demanded her whereabouts from the owner of the house, he declined ever seeing her and her daughter. Shaken by the near-death of his daughter and wife, Ajimobi had to relocate his daughter to the UK to save her life," the ACN said.
Reiterating that this escape was a story in the public domain which could be verified, the ACN said the governor's daughter had been in school in the UK since 2007 and aside the violence, it was also due to the neglect of education sector by the then Government of PDP in Oyo State.

"The aforesaid neglect saw the state sliding down to Number 34 among the 36 States in Nigeria when the administration of Ajimobi came on board. The ACN Government of Oyo State has achieved  a leap from that unenviable 34th position to 24th position due to focused programs towards restoration of the educational glory of the state within the last one year through organization of extra coaching for pupils, further training of teachers, renovation of schools, provision of school furniture, regular payment of salaries, payment of WAEC fees etc." the release said.

The ACN said, had the PDP undertaken all these, the state would not be in the sorry situation that it had been trying to amend since 2011.
"And to think they have the temerity of issuing such a release trying to cast aspersions on the genuine effort of Ajimobi in reviving our education confirms that they are shameless and must have taken our people to be not only myopic but having short memory of the immediate past" the party said.

The ACN said it had identified the PDP members who "stringed" the story and misled the whole world with the false news of Mrs Ajimobi's arrest as an ex-former Senator and former Deputy Governor from the state, the party said it was a shame that the PDP was still playing this politics of mudslinging, using news-thirsty journalists as baits of their rat race politics.

As at the time of writing this report, PDP is yet to respond  to the allegation as we were unable to  contact the  party Spokesperson Barrister Morohunkola Thomas  but  their response will be published tomorow
